Microcement Training Course

Over the last few years, we've seen the demand for microcement grow rapidly. And with the concrete trend showing no signs of slowing, it looks like that growth is set to continue.

Unlike plastering, tiling & painting, there is a serious lack of approved microcement installers in the UK.  With the right training, you can charge up to £150 per sqm for your work, plus you'll stand out from the crowd with a unique skill.

As an approved training centre & stockist for Topciment, with over 3 years microcement experience and a successful concrete interiors brand, the team at Relentless Interiors are well placed to give you the skills that you need to get ahead in this exciting new sector.

Attendees to our courses will receive a certificate that shows they are a Topciment Approved Installer.  The certificate qualifies you for trade discount and validates the product guarantee.

What You'll Learn

We'll take you through the full application of Topciment Microcement, step by step.

At the end of the course, the group will microcement an actual floor in our workshop, not just a sample piece.  We believe this is the only way for you to apply the real life skills that you'll need to work with microcement.

We also have a training wall to get you started with priming, meshing & base coats.  And each attendee is given their own sample board to work on that will be yours to keep.

This way, you'll leave with the confidence to go straight into your first job & a sample to show to your clients.

We'll introduce you to each of the products & demonstrate how to apply them, before letting you have a go for yourself.  We'll also show you how to get a range of finishes, including our trademark, “burnished” look.

The course focuses on the application of microcement on walls, floors and outdoor areas. But we're happy to discuss its use on furniture & worktops if that is of interest.  We'll also explain how different substrates need to be prepared for microcement.

To get a professional finish, you will need to be prepared to invest in some specialist tools.  Previous experience with a hawk and trowel would be an advantage, but not essential.

They'll be plenty of time for any technical questions & to discuss specific questions.

We'll also provide you with our easy to use step-by-steps, our quantity calculator, Topciment data sheets, price lists, as well as our mobile phone numbers in case you have any questions after you leave, or whilst you’re out on jobs.
